Hempstead Hall is the first of its kind in all of southwest Arkansas and it provides Hempstead County residents with a venue to enjoy cultural, artistic, and workforce development programming that has never been possible in our area because of the lack of an appropriate facility.  Hempstead Hall is a showcase for the Hope community, and it has provided a significant, positive economic impact on our community as well.  This facility gives Hempstead County a competitive edge in making our community more progressive and prosperous.

Hempstead Hall is a 65,000 square foot facility uniquely designed to accommodate large and small Arkansas conventions, meetings, conferences, performances, and banquets. It includes a 1600 seat theater with a full production stage, banquet space for 500, multiple conference and meeting rooms, an outdoor amphitheater, and a full- service catering kitchen.

Hempstead Hall is located on the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope campus on Arkansas Highway 29, at the southern city limits of Hope, Arkansas. Hope is 30 miles east of Texarkana and 110 miles southwest of Little Rock.
