From the moment you walk through the front doors of the Oakhaven Rotunda and see the largest-ever James Hayes glass art installation, Hempstead Hall and our dedicated full-time team will amaze you with our modern take on southern hospitality.

The theater space in Hempstead Hall is wonderful for performing arts and stage productions, from concerts to plays to speakers to dance recitals to graduations and everything in between. Complete with a modern green room and the Bingen, Sardis and Clow dressing rooms, our theater’s backstage guarantees you will feel like a star. From movies to ice skating to concerts to lecturers, our theater offers a wonderful space to bring additional cultural, artistic and educational programming to southwest Arkansas. Hempstead Hall is proud to partner with the county’s public schools to provide a secondary location for many K-12 school events. Through our partnership with the Southwest Arkansas Arts Council, we are able to bring a wide variety of programming to the schools and community at large.

As an educational partner with Arkansas Division of Workforce Services (ADWS), Hempstead Hall works closely with southwest Arkansas’ job creators to develop a strong workforce. Our conference center and meeting rooms serve as a training hub for educational and workforce training. Hempstead Hall is perfect if you’re planning a local, regional, or statewide conference. Our unique meeting space can be configured to meet any need. The full-service catering kitchen allows off-site caterers to feel right at home as they prepare for your banquet, gala, meeting, conference, or other community functions.
