Captain Marvel, Thor, Ironman/Tony Stark, Okoye, and Agent Carter spent some time in Hope, AR and Texarkana this last week.
From getting coffee at Starbucks on State Line, to touring the U of A Texarkana campus, to greeting adoring fans at Walmart, the Avengers went all over Hope sampled some of the best food and shopping our community has to offer.
They went to Martin’s to help celebrate their 60th anniversary, and Tony and Thor even found themselves on a birthday card! Next up was Lance & Associates Real Estate company (there’s a rumor that Steve may actually be Captain Marvel’s dad), followed by fun times at HeBrews 11:1 because even superheroes need to refuel with some of Arnetta’s super caffeine.
They made two quick stops downtown to Tailgaters Burger Company and the Southwest Arkansas Arts Council, then had a quick lunch at Amigo Juan’s before checking in with Hope Police and Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office to see if we could lend a hand.
Finally, Tony Stark and Captain Marvel helped out the UAHT Recruiters at the Hope High School Pep Rally (Go, Bobcats!). Tony even signed a few autographs for the adoring crowd!
The Avengers will continue their takeover at Hempstead Hall on Saturday, October 26 at 2:00 p.m. for a double-feature movie event with special meet and greet. Buy your tickets now for this event you won’t want to miss!
