Here’s what’s up next at The Hall! Below is a list of upcoming public events at Hempstead Hall over the next several weeks.  Fri | Mar 6 | 6:30 pm Frozen 2 – MOVIE

Anna & Elsa are coming to Hempstead Hall! There will be a special Meet & Greet with Anna & Elsa before the movie. Doors open at 5:30 pm, movie begins at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $4 ALL AGES and may be purchased in advance here or by calling 870.722.8565 during regular business hours. Tickets may also be purchased at the box office beginning at 5:30 pm the day of the event. MUST HAVE A TICKET TO ENTER THE BUILDING.

Wed | Mar 11 Hope High School Band Competition

The area’s high school bands will compete in the Hempstead Hall.

Thu | Mar 12 UAHT Foundation Spring Scholarship Ceremony

The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana Foundation will recognize its scholarship recipients and donors in a special ceremony Thursday, March 12. Fri | Mar 13 | 7:00 pm “REHEARSAL: The Show” 

Southwest Arkansas Arts’ Council’s newly-formed community theater will debut the first #SWActors original stage production. “REHEARSAL: The Show” is a behind-the-scenes look into the final dress rehearsal for the fictitious group’s first play (funny how life imitates art imitating life, isn’t it?). Come support this great effort through SWAAC and Hempstead Hall. Tickets are only $5 and can be purchased HERE, by calling the Hempstead Hall front desk during regular business hours (870.722.8565) or at the door the night of the show. Doors open at 6:00 pm and the #SWActors take the stage at 7:00 pm sharp.

Sun | Mar 15 | 1:30 pm Overcomer – MOVIE

High school basketball coach John Harrison and his team face an uncertain future when their town's largest manufacturing plant shuts down unexpectedly. As hundreds of people move away, John reluctantly agrees to coach cross-country, a sport he doesn't even like. His outlook soon changes when he meets Hannah Scott, an unlikely runner who pushes herself to the limit. Inspired by the words and prayers of a new friend, John starts to train Hannah for the biggest race of her young life. Doors open at 12:30 pm, movie begins at 1:30 pm. Tue | Mar 17 | 6:00 pm Hope Schools Band Concert

Wed | Mar 18 | 9:00 am – 1:00 pm UAHT’s Women of Iron Leadership Conference

In honor of Women's History Month, the UAHT Office of Student Services will host its Women of Iron Leadership Conference on March 18th from 9 A.M.-1 P.M. This inaugural event targets the incredible women from UAHT and seniors from area high schools on the importance of professionalism, responsible social media use, leadership, and other necessary soft skills. The significance of "iron" in the conference's title correlates with our decorated mascot, the Iron Horse. Thirty years after starring in "The Wizard of Oz," beloved actress and singer Judy Garland arrives in London to perform sold-out shows at the Talk of the Town nightclub. While there, she reminisces with friends and fans and begins a whirlwind romance with musician Mickey Deans, her soon-to-be fifth husband. Doors open at 6:30 pm, movie begins at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $4 ALL AGES and may be purchased in advance here or by calling 870.722.8565 during regular business hours. Tickets may also be purchased at the box office beginning at 6:30 pm the day of the event. Must have a ticket to enter the building. Rated PG-13
